Captain Sneh Rana won the toss and elected to bat first on a strip which was suitable for the batters as opener batter Vrinda Dinesh hit a dashing ton (109 runs off 105 balls).

Yastika Bhatia played a run-a-ball 68 and Riya Chaudhari's 40 runs took her team to 277 runs in 48.5 overs. Radha Yadav took four and IM Pathare grabbed three wickets in the match.

Chasing the target of 278 runs, India Women 'B' were restricted to 195 runs in 43.4 overs. Prema and Kashvee Gautam shared three wickets each as skipper Sneh Rana grabbed a brace of wickets.

On the opening day of the competition, the Radha Yadav-led Team B chased down a target of 283 runs in 42.4 overs to beat Shafali Verma's Team A by 38 runs at Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai.

In the second match, the Saika Ishaque-led Team D defended 211/9 to beat Sneh Rana's Team C by 20 runs at SSN College Ground, Chennai.

India then beat Korea 3-1 before eking out a narrow 2-1 win over arch-rivals Pakistan.

In the first match, Haryana thrashed Rajasthan 6-1. Rohit Rana (2nd minute), Sunil Maan (11th), Sahil Ruhal (17th) and Ami Khasa (60th) scored one goal each, while Navraj Singh (7th, 37th) struck a brace for Haryana.
