MANILA, Philippines—Former University of the Philippines teammates Carl Tamayo and JD Cagulangan went head-to-head in the Korean Basketball League (KBL) on Monday.

It was his first single-digit scoring performance since tallying eight points last December 7 in a win over the Wonju DB Promy in a game where he logged 11 minutes off the bench.
Cagulangan, on the other hand, had nine points and three assists three days after a solid KBL debut for Suwon where he collected seven points, four rebounds, nine assists and five steals in 22 minutes of action.
